Ⓘ Pinto Wagtail

The piebald wagtail is a bird from the wagtail family.

Body length 19 - 20.5 cm, wing length 84-102 mm, tail length 83-93 mm. Most of the upper body is black, a long and wide crescent "eyebrow", and the chin and throat are white. The belly and most of the feathers on the wings are white.

1. Areal

It lives exclusively in sub-Saharan Africa.

A resident bird. Often settles near human settlements at an altitude of 2500 - 3000 meters above sea level. Insects and tadpoles form the basis of food.
